We hosted once again a successful concert like never before. About twenty-nine (29) Violin players on the stage performed a composition, composed by the teacher Mr. Jeremia Mwoonde, a song with different voices and percussion together.

This concert took place on the 27th of April 2024 for all beginners who started in January this year, who tested their knowledge on progress and a step in stage confidence as they had to perform in front of everyone else. The audience benches have been full of visitors throughout the concert, and one of the parents who is a lawyer told me (Ms. Lis Hidber – Leader of APC’s), that APC truly is a place where our children and young ones are safe in this criminal environment.

Little something for the finance....

On this Saturday, we made the most income since the existence of APC’s Beginner Concerts we hosted : N$ 1900.00 (78.- Euro) this was indeed the beginning of hope in music, and the interest our visitors and audience shown in their valuable support to keep our youth off streets and to assist APC through in-kind donations, ticket sale support and finances which we subsidize in various sections of the daily running of the centre in a short and long time-line.

Michaela Eyberg , a Volunteer cellist from Wien taught these players during her visits to the centre. Where she left higher and higher knowledge as an investment in our youth today.
